The launch of an innovative new communications agency heralds the start of an exciting new venture for some of the region's top marketing, PR and design professionals.
Mercury Design and Marketing has been launched in response to increasing demand from organisations in both the public and private sector for an agency which can make a commercial difference or produce tangible results through the implementation of effective campaigns.
The award-winning members of the new team include former journalist and CIPR Outstanding Young Communicator finalist Kelly Todd, renowned East Yorkshire graphic designer Paul Burnett and Gareth Moore, an industry expert in web development and digital media; behind them sits an integrated team of experts in the areas of marketing, public affairs, lobbying and events.
The agency has secured more than 25 clients in its first month of trading including a range of blue chip companies in the region such as Sewell Group, William Jackson Food Group, Hull Trains and Kingswood Parks Development Company, plus a wide range of consumer accounts and SMEs.
Kelly Todd, director of Mercury, said: "I firmly believe that exciting times lie ahead of the business – I am proud to be working with the very best graphic and web designers, PR professionals and marketing experts in the region. The key to our success will be the way in which we utilise a wide range of communications channels to guide organisations through some of the most difficult economic conditions they have ever come across – we are committed to ensuring every campaign we undertake makes a bottom line difference to the client."
